World Map
Suggestions;
* selectable regions like “ domhan forest “ , “ highlands “ where it then zooms into that region and shows all the different things on the map (see note A1)
* Rightclick on a position on the map to set a Personal waypoint marker (see note A2)
* Rightclick on a position on the map to set a Party waypoint marker (see note A2)
* When clicking on a “ Point of Interest “ provide a small list of what AIs can be found there and which things can be found or quests linked to it. Perhaps only after you’ve discovered the area? (see note A3)
* Visited / explored AIs and areas like the woodcutter AI on the side of the road in Domhan Forest after I’ve talked to him (see note A3)
Notes;
(A1) The map is small for now, but if it is going to grow bigger then finding a specific spot or AI on the map will probably become a hastle.
(A2) Theres no waypoint for me to setup, so i could get lost in the world, if this is per design then great, if not, then you might want to include some form of an arrow on the edge of the screen to indicate where I've put down my waypoint marker. Similarly for the Party waypoint, so perhaps it requires a small dialogbox when rightclicking or such.
(A3) If players can see the previously visited AIs and areas they can keep track of their exploration progress, aswell as whats going on there. Another example is Domhan Mine, i visited it without quests active and just running around and after visiting, .. it could for example when i click it on the map reference to a quest i can get for it in town or such on the righthandside underneath the description of the point of interest or area clicked. Perhaps tie it into the journal Quests list? The discoverable Telepads come to mind that represent what I'm describing here.
