Hello everyone,
I just happened to find this site by pure luck when I started searching for my all my previous rmxp sites. I had a big break due to rmxp burnout and haven't did much work. I also have been busy with my us army duties but now that the winter is coming I should be able to get back to story creation.
I'm somewhat of a noob when it comes to RMXP but I have tutorials and books on Ruby script so there's no where to go but up!
Hope to discuss future game development with ya'll in the future!

Hiyah! Welcome to phanx games! I don't think we have anyone here who works in the army...count yourself as unique XD. Defiantly hope you stay active; the site has been somewhat inactive lately, but that is because the administrator is busy working on a new website with features such as a game hosting section, resource gallery, and a tutorial database. I know I probably sound like a walking talking advertisement, but meh. It's my job  ...well...not really. I'll just shut up >.< Anyway, I'm looking forward to hearing about your projects!

@Jaar Oh, I definitely will stay active I just may disappear from time to time depending on watever current mission my team is on at the time. Also 2 times a year ill be gone a whole month lol

welcome welcome. I just signed up to the forums recently too. Its pretty awesome you're in the army. Most of my friends are in the Armed Service or in the process of joining. Actually two of my team members are members of the Air Force ROTC at the Corp Cadets at VA Tech.
I bet your experience in the military community and environment can really bring a unique flavor to games and storylines. I was a military brat and was supposed to go the Pilot route into the Air Force but DODMERB said no because of childhood asthma. (lame) I am still considering OCS next year though.
Let me know if you need any help on any of your projects or looking for something to get into to. Peace,

first of all thanks for the great welcoming!
@ elf wind - Roger, we're actually stationed at Camp Casey, out by the DMZ. Been here a year already and I gotta say if anyone ever gets a chance to travel, they really should visit South Korea. It's amazing.
@ blackeagle - Ye, I've noticed all my stories have a definite military tone and/or a "shut up and just do it" flavor lol The military is definitely the way to go in my opinion. i dont no about your soon-to-be officer friends tho.....nah just joking seriously i love lower officers, it's probably because most are not all hidebound snobs. and if you can get into ocs, you really should. I no the army allows asthma (that's just a thought NOT a recruitment lol) and once i get back into the swing of things I'll definitely look you up for ideas and tech help
@haya - wats hbgames? another forum site? am i to take it that this type of forum is almost like it's own independent game company? minus the bill gates structure and other stuff?

Jaar m'boy, I think pretty much everyone on this forum is unique~ n.n And welcome to PhanX, DuesPo~ Hope you have a good time here~ n.n You'll probably come to learn of the little habbits and quirks of the members soon enough. Some of us tend to be more normal and ordinary, others tend to be maybe a little... sadistic... and creepy... Heheheheheheh~~ Have a good time here~ n.n
